Campus life at UIC for most students begins and ends with Campus Auxiliary Services (CAS). Through a network of programs, facilities, and services, CAS embodies a lifeline that connects the UIC community to a vast array of UIC experiences from living and learning communities to campus dining and events throughout campus.  As a unit within Student Affairs, CAS serves as the pulse for community engagement and is an important point of entry to UIC for prospective students and other campus visitors conducting business on campus. As the “front door” to the campus, CAS facilities create the first impression of a safe, productive, and welcoming campus environment, supporting the UIC experience of a leading urban institution. The dynamic array of self-supporting programs, services, and facilities fosters student success, develops affinity, and supports the UIC experience by promoting a learning-centered environment.
